Esta cascada es la más larga de Galicia y supera un desnivel de 200m en la búsqueda del encajado ...
El nombre Corga da Fecha proviene de las palabras “corga” que significa abertura hecha por el cauce de pequeños riachuelos y por “fecha” que se trata de una pequeña cantidad de agua formada por estos mismos.
Esta cascada es la más larga de Galicia y supera un desnivel de doscientos metros en la búsqueda del encajado cauce del río Caldo.
En la carretera de subida a A Portela do Home existe un mirador habilitado para la observación de A Corga da Fecha desde una cierta distancia, lo que permite apreciarla en su totalidad y entender su contexto geográfico y paisajístico.
