Las aguas del río Limia ocultan y dejan ver a su económico capricho, los vestigios de la historia.
ROUTE 02 MTB CENTER TRAVESÍA DO XURÉS
The route starts from the old rectory of San Pedro in Muíños, now converted into rural tourism accommodation. Ascending, it leads us to the village of O Agrelo, which we will cross to reach Picós, through an area of well-preserved native forest. Following the signs of the PR-G Torrente-Salgueiro path, belonging to the network of routes of the Park, we reach the hermitage of A Clamadoira, from where we can contemplate a beautiful panoramic view over the valley of the Limia river. The small 18th century church is surrounded by magnificent centenary oak trees.
The next mandatory stop will be the village of Prado de Limia, where we can enjoy the typical popular architecture of O Xurés, as well as the church of San Salvador and a restored communal oven.
We cross the Salas River over a stone bridge until we reach a recreational area with several mills, some still in operation. Along a track in good condition we ascend towards Albite, a small livestock farming village. After a very technical ascent and descent, we reach the parish of A Cela, where its houses and stables merge with the large granite boulders forming a unique architecture. Downstream of A Cela, we find the spectacular waterfall of A Poza da Seima. We cross the river Salas by a wooden bridge to start a demanding portage with our bicycle of about 15 minutes to reach the dirt track that goes to Reparade, where we connect with Route 6 "Via Nova", which comes from Lobios. Leaving Reparade, the path leads us again and ascending towards the hermitage of A Clamadoira. The return to the rectory of San Pedro is through a narrow path that ends on the road to Mugueimes, a few meters from the end of this route.
