ROUTE 01 MTB CENTER OUTEIRO DA CELA FOREST PARK

The Outeiro da Cela Forest Park is part of the O Corgo Tourist-Sports Complex, where one of the Serra do Xurés Mountain Bike Center's Welcome Points is located. A natural recreational area of almost 40 hectares with a very simple route, with hardly any accumulated slope, and that, along its almost 6 kilometers of route, allows to approach the shore of the reservoir of As Conchas and to know the village of O Rañadoiro.

It is recommended to climb to the highest point of O Noval, a small hill very close to the starting point of this route, which is accessed by several marked trails. From here, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the reservoir and the archaeological remains of the Roman military camp Aquis Querquennis, in the neighboring municipality of Bande.

The O Corgo complex has a campsite and a wide range of leisure activities to enjoy this privileged environment. Nautical activities such as kayaking and sailing stand out, as well as the possibility of participating in organized hiking trails or practicing climbing in its outdoor climbing wall.

From the parking lot of the Welcome Point, you can cycle the two kilometers that separate it from the Rectoral de San Pedro, nowadays lodging of the Rural Tourism network, from where Route 2 "Travesía do Xurés" starts.
